What kind of parenting style is most conducive to learning and success in life? Popular psychologist Dr. Ferney Ramirez will share the parenting strategies that will assist students to develop responsibility and make positive choices around their education. Participants will learn the skills to promote healthy habits and create a environment that will best support their child’s school success.
All are welcome to this free event presented in Spanish that will begin at 11:30am. A light lunch will be provided and parents and students are encouraged to attend.

Objetivo: Para que los chicos puedan tener éxito en la escuela, es necesario, establecer en su rutina diaria, una serie de reglas que les ayude a desarrollar disciplina y responsabilidad en ellos. Pero estas no deben ser vistas como una imposición, sino como un proyecto a realizar en casa, que trae beneficios y consecuencias positivas para su vida. Por eso, los padres deben ser cómplices de esta aventura familiar, con el fin de crear un ambiente apropiado para su buen desempeño en la escuela.
