The Minority Student Achievement Committee (MSAC), Families of African American Students United for Excellence (FUSE), and the Glenbard Parent Series will present~Find Your Future at College Night at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 at the Marquardt Administration Center.
High school is a crucial time for students to grow intellectually and personally and to prepare for college and career. This presentation will assist both students and their parents in this important journey. Specialists in the field will discuss what you can expect from each stage of the college admissions process. Panelists will discuss the role of grades, test scores, work experience, and financial aid and talk about the significance of an upward trajectory. Dr. Raquel Wilson, the principal/coordinator of the District 87 Direction Program, and students who have been through the program will also share remarks to inspire and empower all students to succeed.
A light dinner will be served.
Babysitting will be provided, as well as translation for Spanish speaking families. All family members are invited!
