Have you ever wished for the secrets to successful communication with your student or the tools to help your teen open up? Please join us when Josh Shipp – author, speaker and television personality – provides the strategies parents need to engage, support and motivate their children.
This free event, recommended for adults only, will begin at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 in the auditorium at Glenbard North, 990 N. Kuhn Road in Carol Stream.
Shipp has earned an international reputation as a recognized teen expert. His inspiring personal story and life-changing message have reached parents, educators, mental health professionals and millions of teens. As the author of “The Teen’s Guide to World Domination” and “Jump Ship: Turn Your Passion into a Profession,” Shipp helps young people learn valuable life-skills. Shipp combines laugh-out-loud humor and real-world experience to reveal five mistakes parents unknowingly make and offer practical strategies to drive positive changes in teens. It’s a message from someone who’s been there and wants parents to feel empowered and teens to succeed.
CPDUs are available for education professionals.
