Milton Creagh

Raising Students for Success in a Diverse World

Sat, Mar 18, 2017 @ 11:30 am CDT - 1:00 pm CDT

| Free

GPS and GPS-FUSE welcome the all as Milton Creagh discusses how we can raise our children to succeed in our diverse world.

Milton Creagh is a dynamic, nationally recognized speaker, author, and media personality with a common-sense message to aid parents in instilling strong values in teens. Mr. Creagh has addressed students and adults internationally, as well as being a featured speaker for the NFL, the NBA, the White House, and many corporate giants. Known for his fiery, hard-hitting oratory Mr. Creagh is the former host of the national PBS television series Parenting Works, and the author of Nobody Wants Your Child, a practical guide that assists parents in fostering their children’s good life choices.

Mr. Creagh promotes a construct he calls the “Inclusion Quotient” — a concept that in order for a teen to reach his/her full potential it requires the sum total of intellect, experiences, and ideas uniquely possessed by each individual. Inclusion requires the ability to honestly listen with an open mind and be willing to ask for and accept help from those who may be unlike our selves.Participants will learn how teens can come to view others as valuable resources, despite their diverse backgrounds and other differences.

All students and their families are welcome to this special FUSE event. A free light lunch will be served.

We also will recognize the leadership of many of our African- American students at this very special event.
