Social Skills and Anxiety Solutions for the Early Child: Start Strong

Tue, Aug 31, 2021 @ 12:00 pm CDT - 1:00 pm CDT

| Free

You can watch this webinar at this link.

A child’s social and emotional skills in kindergarten might be the biggest predictor of success in adulthood.  However, many young people have a hard time handling their strong emotions – whether it is anger, anxiety, or sadness.  Coping mechanisms for young people can help with these struggles.  This Early Child presentation will expand upon the skills children already have in place to help them handle these strong feelings and will share a foundation designed to assist young people in developing the skills that work for them, so they can interact with their world and their peers in a healthy, happy way.

Janine Halloran is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been working primarily with children and adolescents for over 15 years.  She is a mom, author, and entrepreneur who loves to create products and resources, and has developed businesses to support families and professionals who work with children and teens.

This event will be presented virtually.  The link to log in to this webinar from your computer, tablet or phone is https://glenbard.zoom.us/j/83389907611
