Internationally celebrated author and speaker, Jessica Minahan will discuss approaches to understanding and intervening in patterns of challenging behavior. Through the use of humorous stories, and examples of common challenging situations, participants will learn easy to implement interventions for reducing anxiety, increasing self-regulation, enhancing executive functioning and strengthening self- monitoring skills. Here is a systematic approach for enhancing coping skills, deciphering causes and patterns of anxious behaviors, and a real-world approach that matches teens with proven strategies on the path to success.

Jessica Minaha is a licensed and board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA), author, special educator, and consultant to schools internationally. She has worked with students who struggle with mental health issues and students who have emotional and behavioral disabilities, anxiety disorders, or high-functioning Autism.. She is the author of The Behavior Code: A Practical Guide to Understanding and Teaching the Most Challenging Students and author of The Behavior Code Companion: Strategies, Tools, and Interventions for Supporting Students with Anxiety-Related or Oppositional Behaviors
