Teens are constantly subjected to distorted images of stereotypes in today’s world. These misrepresentations greatly impact how teens navigate the new rules of physical and emotional intimacy. What are the expectations, the pressures, and the trends? Peggy Orenstein is an internationally recognized authority on the sexuality-based challenges facing teens, and their parents, as they come of age in today’s culture.

Orenstein will open up a much-needed conversation to discuss the myths that have seeped into young people’s lives and how they are handling it. She will address the role of “hookup culture, what’s new now, the painful realities surrounding assault, consent, and sex education. Orenstein will unravel the hidden truths and realities. Join us and learn how to better understand this complicated new world, to assist our adolescents to become their best selves.
