“The College Application Process From Start to Finish and Web-based College Research Tool-Naviance” presented by school counselors Chris Lubiniecki, who will present in English, and Norma Vega-Rodriguez, who will present in Spanish.
Participants will learn about college tests, essay writing, the college application and search process, as well as updates on Naviance, a web-based college search tool. All parents and students are encouraged to attend this GPS /Saturday event. Continental breakfast and babysitting will be provided.
Whether it’s matching colleges to a student’s career interests, or comparing admissions rates at a student’s top college choices, Naviance college planning tools allow students and families to make informed decisions. Students also can compare colleges and universities, explore scholarship opportunities and track the status of supporting application documents (transcripts and letters of recommendation). All of these tools are managed from one location, improving communications between students, schools, and parents and reducing paperwork.
Sábado, 24 de Octubre.
