Joy at work and joy at home are inextricably linked. It can be very difficult to have one without the other. If we are miserable at work, there is little doubt that our home lives will be affected. Our children are sensitive to the moods of their parents. If parents are optimistic and hopeful about their future at work, this can translate into being vibrant, encouraging parents at home.
In this talk, Sheridan will discuss what it takes to create a joyful culture at work and will discuss how parents can bring this same joy to their home lives. The same skills we are looking for at work: creativity, imagination, energy, enthusiasm, and optimism can be cultivated in our children. The roots of both emanate from the same basic human need for feeling safe and living without artificially manufactured fear. This event is for adults (and students) in any field who want tangible examples for a healthier, happier atmosphere at work and home. Participants will come away with an inspirational blueprint for how to create a positive culture. Unleash the human energy and the results you always knew were possible
