Every parent wants to be able to communicate with their teenager openly and effectively. Here to share constructive communication and perspective taking strategies that work is Licensed Clinical Social Worker Krina Gandhi. Caregivers will learn how to productively acknowledge and understand emotions their youth might be experiencing — and to discover how to validate those feelings. Join us and learn how to discuss the tough topics and discover ways to share encouragement, support, and love when challenges arrise.
Krina Gandhi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating mental health disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, social anxiety, and personality disorders. She has a particular interest in working with young adults emerging into adulthood and navigating college. Krina holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. She specialized in mental health and completed her graduate level internship at NorthShore University Health System’s Partial Hospitalization Program, facilitating group therapy with emerging adults diagnosed with mental health disorders.
