Lisa Damour, PhD., returns to the Glenbard Parent Series to examine the science of stress and anxiety, and offer practical tools to best manage emotional overload. Learn how to keep pressure and tension from reaching toxic levels and how to parent adolescents effectively today. Damour’s insights will allow each of us to keep anxiety manageable during these difficult times.

Damour is the author of the award- winning New York Times bestseller “Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood.” Her latest book is “Under Pressure: Confronting the Epidemic of Stress and Anxiety in Girls.” Her teaching is equally applicable to boys as well.

A community conversation will follow with Janet Cook, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services.
