She will detail ways to achieve a work-life balance and offer tips to help parents/guardians discover new approaches to working and parenting. Participants will learn to create a work-family enrichment mindset. Schonbrun will also explain the function of guilt and how to effectively manage this emotion when it arises.

Schonbrun is a clinical psychologist, assistant professor at Brown University and co-host of Psychologists Off the Clock. Her most recent book is “Work, Parent, Thrive: 12 Science-Backed Strategies to Ditch Guilt, Manage Overwhelm, and Grow Connection (When Everything Feels Like Too Much).”
